At HolyCross College of Theology, our Diploma Programs are designed to equip believers with sound biblical knowledge, practical ministry skills, and spiritual depth for impactful Christian service. These programs provide a flexible and accessible pathway for individuals who desire to grow in faith, leadership, and ministry effectiveness—no matter their location.
This is the “deep dive” for those who want to have a good understanding of the Word of God. The Diploma in Theology lays out a rich framework for the interpretation of the scripture and knowledge of the big picture of God’s plan of redemption. It’s about developing an unmovable theological base in an ever-shifting world. Moreso, this program goes beyond traditional classroom study by connecting Biblical Hermeneutics with the practical needs of Community Development. It is a rigorous journey through the narrative of Scripture, providing students with the theological tools to address poverty, injustice, and systemic challenges from a Christ-centred perspective.
Core Competencies: Biblical and Systematic theology, Biblical interpretation (hermeneutics), church history, apologetics, Theology of Development.
The Impact: Graduates emerge with clarity and confidence to either continue their studies or move into mission work or any type of ministry requiring sound doctrine and biblical depth.
Leadership, in a Christian context, has nothing to do with power; it is about influence and stewardship. This program challenges students to work on their character as much as their skills. We integrate biblical models of leadership (such as Nehemiah and Paul) with modern organisational models to help you lead your team, drive positive change, and keep your vision aligned with God’s heart.
Core Competencies: Servant leadership, strategic planning, conflict management, ethical decision making
The Impact: This diploma prepares people for both ministry and organisation, in roles such of pastors and department heads, or for creating ministries, to lead with integrity and spiritual preparedness.
