Executive Certificate Program

HCT Executive Certificate in Ministry Management and Administration

This is a program for current Church leaders working at the Episcopal level in their church or ministry. It is designed to provide the best possible training in:

  1. Principles of leadership and management,
  2. modern communication,
  3. understanding globalisation and ecumenical networking,
  4. the importance of holistic ministry,
  5. Christian theology and ethics in the twenty-first century, and 
  6. strengthening biblical foundations.

 

 

Entry Requirements: Applicants must hold Episcopal-level church appointments with not less than 15 years, and must have a valid first degree with at least a second-class pass.
Official transcripts or certificates from all postsecondary schools
A testimony starting with how you met Jesus Christ, your growth since then, and why you apply to the College. Include your thoughts on how you would like to see your faith and ministry grow during your studies at the college
What is your intended outcome after the Professional Certificate program?


Graduation Requirements: The candidate must have completed 18 credit hours. This comprises 15 course credits, 3 credits for Practicum.
Post-class Project

 

Requirement: Students are required to write a short-project after each module.


Assignments: Students must turn in completed assignments a week after the end of the module. Students who fail to turn in their assignment(s) will not be allowed to register for the next module.


Major Project Requirements: After the last module, each student will take a three-credit course in Practicum, and is then expected to write a major and quality paper developing a theme or themes from any of the modules that relate to the practical way of their own ministry.
